AQUAGUARD

The AQUAGUARD use case focuses on advancing real-time, intelligent monitoring for aquaculture operations, particularly in marine fish farming environments. The primary objective is to empower aquaculture producers with tools to continuously assess and manage water quality, fish behavior, and environmental conditions, reducing operational risks and enhancing sustainability.

At the core of the solution are SensBlue IoT sensors, developed by ATRONIA, which are strategically deployed in fish tanks or sea cages. These sensors capture critical data such as temperature, oxygen levels, pH, turbidity, and fish movement patterns. Data is transmitted in real time through 5G and mobile networks to the NebulOuS Meta-OS platform, a dynamic orchestration layer that leverages edge/fog and cloud computing to process and analyze large volumes of geographically distributed data.

The system includes an AI-driven anomaly detection engine, enabling early identification of potential threats such as disease outbreaks, oxygen depletion, or harmful algal blooms.
