The NebulOuS Open Call #2 officially closed on April 23rd and it’s time to look at the results
A total of 87 applications were submitted and finalised, demonstrating the strong interest and dedication of participants. These applications were distributed across the defined challenges as follows:
- 15 applications for Challenge 1 — Workflow application
- 47 applications for Challenge 2 — IoT application
- 5 applications for Challenge 3 — Serverless application
- 20 applications for Challenge 4 — Open challenge
The reach of the NebulOuS Open Call #2 extended across 19 countries, highlighting the considerable interest in the NebulOuS Project and the drive for innovation in cloud technologies within Europe.
Furthermore, the open call generated significant engagement throughout the application period:
- The Guidelines for Applicants were downloaded over 900 times, indicating a commitment from potential participants to understand the program requirements.
- Over 80 participants attended NebulOuS’s 2 webinars and 4 Q&A sessions, seeking further understanding with the NebulOuS team.

Next Steps in the Evaluation Process:
With the application period now closed, the expert evaluation team has started a rigorous review of the 87 finalised applications. The evaluation process is guided by a fair and thorough assessment process.
